In response to market demands, the company has invested substantially in constructing a large-scale transformer manufacturing facility in Kunming Chenggong High-Tech Industrial Park, capable of producing units from 220kV to 500kV classes.

The Transformer Product Testing Center features a dedicated high-voltage test hall equipped with a comprehensive suite of high-precision digital instrumentation, including:

Capacitive compensation towers;

This facility is certified to perform routine tests, type tests, and selected special tests for transformers rated up to 220 kV. Its infrastructure supports future expansion to 500-kV class testing and accommodates validation of related electrical equipment. The center meets national advanced standards and ranks as the leading facility in Southwest China for integrated testing capabilities.

The 220-kV series oil-immersed power transformers, developed and launched in 2018, feature:

Controlled temperature rise;

Ultra-low partial discharge;

Optimized structural design ensuring reliable operation, superior insulation integrity, and zero oil leakage. These units demonstrate excellent short-circuit withstand capability, high lightning impulse strength, and robust environmental adaptability.

As of the current date, Tongbian Electric has achieved an annual production capacity of:
